World renowned sculptor Zenos Frudakis, a member of FFRF, is the guest on this week's new TV program, "Freethought Matters."
Zenos is interviewed by FFRF Director of Communications Amit Pal about why he worked with FFRF to create the new bronze sculpture of Clarence Darrow dedicated last July on the lawn of the Rhea County Courthouse, home of the Scopes ("Monkey") Trial.
He also talks about other artwork depicting his humanistic and philosophical views. The interview is lavishly illustrated with examples of Zenos' artwork as well as photography and video showing the "evolution" of the Darrow monument.
The half-hour show is hosted by FFRF Co-Presidents Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor. "Freethought Matters" first airs on Madison's local WISC-TV 3, which is affiliated with CBS, Sundays at 11 p.m.
