Calling All Non-believers . . . Come Out of the Closet!
Declare and share your nonbelief! Although the nonreligious — including one in five U.S. citizens — is a significant segment of the world population, many Americans have never knowingly met a nonbeliever. You can help dispel myths, educate and promote reason by adding your voice, face and message to FFRF's friendly neighborhood freethinker campaign. This is your chance to proclaim you're a freethinker and why. It's working for the gay rights movement. Now it's time for atheists and agnostics to come out of our closet. Many faces make Enlightenment work.
Record your short (1 min. or less) video explaining why you're a freethinker who has come "Out of the Closet" and upload via FFRF's Out of the Closet video campaign app (below). Please, if possible, use the words "I am an out of the closet (atheist/freethinker/agnostic/skeptic/your favorite label)" to begin or conclude your remarks. By using this application, you agree as an adult to the terms and conditions. If you're 13-17 years old, your parent or guardian agrees to these terms and conditons.
To use this application:
1. Have a google account (creating an account is easy to do)
2. Have a Youtube account with channel (creating a channel is easy to do)
3. Tell us a little about yourself (we won't share your info with anyone, we promise!)
4. Upload the video, or select the video from your existing account, or record a video off your computer's camera.
Include your name in the title, it will be easier to find on our site. Description is optional.
When you're finished uploading the video, be sure to check out the latest videos, staff picks, and famous freethinkers.
